Dr. Refly Harun, S.H., M.H., LL.M

Dr. Refly Harun, S.H., M.H., LL.M received his undergraduate education at the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University (UGM). He completed the first doctoral degree by research from the Faculty of Law, Andalas University, Padang (2016). Previously Refly obtained two titles master, from the University of Indonesia (2002) and University of Notre Dame, USA, on scholarship Fulbright (2007).

Refly Harun is known as a practitioner and academic reliable constitutional law. His opinions often color the media, good print and electronic, and not infrequently become reference for important policy making in this country. As an observer, Refly once received an award from the Supervisory Board Election (Bawaslu), namely as a Legal Observer Favorite (2014) and Best Election Observer (2015).

Refly’s experience is quite extensive. After holding a law degree, Refly became personal assistant Adnan Buyung Nasution (1995) and spent eight years as journalist in several media (1995-2003). After that, Refly has several positions: as staff expert at the Constitutional Court (2003-2007), analyst at Media Center KPU for the 2004 election (2003-2004), senior researcher at Center for Electoral Reform (2008-2013), founder and partner at Harpa Law Firm/Refly Harun & Partners (2009–present), expert staff at DPD (2009–2014),  expert staff to the Chairman of the DPR (2010), director executive/chairman of Constitutional & Electoral Reform Center (2013-2017), special staff of the Minister of Secretary Country (2014-2015). Since March 18th 2015, Refly trusted as Former President Commissioner of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk until September 5, 2018 and then President Commissioner at PT Pelindo 1 (Persero) starting September 7, 2018. Currently Refly is registered as a permanent lecturer at the Faculty Tarumanagara University Law, besides teaching in the Faculty’s Graduate Program UGM Law since 2013.
